Client config
Add StirVid to your MCP client config. The same JSON block works across Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, and Hermes.
Mint an API key
Use the StirVid CLI to create a key. The raw key is shown once at creation. Store it in a password manager or secrets vault.
Output:
If you lose the raw key, rotate it. StirVid stores only the SHA-256 hash and cannot recover the plaintext.
Verify
Once the client restarts, ask the agent to call stirvid_status. A healthy response means auth, network, and skill load all succeeded.
